A kitchen fire at the Boat House restaurant, 4917 Seventh Ave., Thursday evening prompted the evacuation of about 75 patrons, and casued an estimated $50,000 in damage, said Kenosha Fire Department Battalion Chief Matthew Haerter. There were no injuries to patrons or firefighters, he said.
