Kenneth Louis Eich, 87, passed away on Jan. 11, 2010, in Columbia, Mo., at the Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital.

He was born on Jan. 31, 1923, the son of the late Nicholas and Elsie (Micheln) Eich.
Ken attended local schools and graduated from Bradford High School in June 1941. After serving in the armed forces in World War II, he married Jeanne Flocker on May 1, 1945.
He learned taxidermy at the University of Iowa and Jonas of Denver and operated his own shop for 45 years in Kenosha. Ken was an avid hunter and made many trips to all provinces of Canada and the western states. He was also involved in decoy carving. Ken retired from Johns-Mansville in 1980.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; a son, Kenneth (Patricia) Eich, Jr.; a grandson, David, all of Columbia, Mo.; and a sister, Carol (Richard) Flocker of Kenosha.
Private funeral services were held in Columbia, Missouri.
