Albert J. Wollschlaeger, Sr., 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Beloved husband of Hilda, nee Dorenbos, who he married 56 years ago in Chicago. Loving father of Debi (Steve) Murphy, Carey (Russ) Cernivec, Lynn (Michael) Haag, Raymond (Kathy) Wollschlaeger, and the late Albert J. Wollschlaeger, Jr.; cherished grandfather of 13, Jim (Tracy) and Scott (Andrea) Guerra, Stephen Murphy, Joe, Ryan and Michael Cernivec, Michael, Caitlyn and Austin Haag, Ashley Wollschlaeger, Brittany, Nicole and Dana Wollschlaeger; adoring great-grandfather of four, Carter, Brianna, Casey and Paige; fond brother of Ann Eder; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Veteran of the U.S. Army Korean War, founder and owner of Hil-Mar Construction Company, and later worked for the Chicago Board of Education as a carpenter and foreman.
Services are private. In memory of Albert, memorials to Hospice Alliance, 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd., Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements made by Spring Grove Funeral Chapel 815-675-0550.
