This is in regards to an article written by Eugene Robinson in the paper Jan. 28, 2010. He should get his facts clear before having them printed.

He stated President Obama’s family was on food stamps for a time. Was this when he was with the family in Indonesia? I don’t think they get food stamps there, or food stamps when he was with his grandparents in Hawaii, or just the brief time with his mother before she left for school and he went to live at his grandparents. His grandfather was an ex-Marine, so I don’t think they got food stamps. How does Obama know the struggles of everyday Americans? He didn’t grow up in America.

You mentioned the Bushes. They are a wonderful American family and have given a lot to this country. They know the history of our country and have lived through it. So, Mr. Robinson, get some of your facts clear before printing them.
