This letter is in response to Tea Party Fans Should Check Facts.

I attended my first Tea Party in Sturtevent, and I would like to inform Bill Cobb of what’s true. Tea Partiers are not disgruntled right-wing Republicans who ignore the facts. Tea Partiers are Americans who are Democrats, Republicans and Independents who are concerned with the direction in which Congress is taking this country. Would anyone hand me his or her checkbook or credit card and allow me to make unlimited expenditures? Well, Congress seems to think they have the right to spend our money as well as our children’s and grandchildren’s money, and they don’t care about putting our generation and future generations into such debt. Maybe Bill Cobb should check to see who is in attendance before making such statements.
