Touched Twice clinic fills a need
LAUREL — To organizer David Florez and other planners of the seventh annual Kenosha Touched Twice Free Clinic held last weekend at Brass Community School. More than 1,100 people in need received health screenings, meals and haircuts at the event, which is sponsored by area churches. As one woman getting care at the clinic pointed out, “It’s been a rough time for my family.” In today’s tough economy, many of us are just one lost job away from needing the services provided at this event. Thanks to the donors and businesses that helped make this event a big success....More
