WEATHER ALERTS Sign Up Page
When the weather outside is frightful -- we'll make your life a little more delightful -- with WEATHER ALERTS from the Kenosha News.
Our new WEATHER ALERT service will notify you of area school, business and activity-related closings via email or text any time bad weather strikes.
New Users:
- 1. Use the form below to select one organization you wish to monitor. (Once you are confirmed you can select more organizations.)
- 2. Enter your name and the email address at which you'd like to receive the notices.
- 3. For text messages, enter your cell phone number and select your provider.
- 4. Select the length of time you'd like to receive notices.
- 5. Choose the alert type; "Email" or "Phone & Email."
- 6 Verify you are over the age of 13 and click "Sign Me Up."
You will receive an email confirming your subscription. Follow the link in the email that will bring you back to this page. At the bottom is an area that says "Manage your subscription." Enter your email address and hit the button that says "Request Email." Another email will be sent to you that provides a link to add additional organizations. Save this email so you can use the link provided to return and modify your settings at any time.
Returning Users: If you delete this email, you may return to this page at any time and request a new email by going to the "Manage Your Subscriptions", entering your email address and clicking "Request Email".
Example: You can select KUSD now, but later you can select individual schools for each of your children. Then you'll be notified if there's a district wide closing or if there's a single school closing or delay for only one of your children.
Returning Users: You may return to this page at any time and request a new email by going to the "Manage Your Subscriptions", entering your email address and clicking "Request Email". A message will be sent to you that will enable you to add or delete organizations you receive notifications from or cancel your account.
